JUNIOR COACHING

Dear Parent/Junior Tennis Player  

COACHING   We are delighted that the Junior Club Night has been extremely well supported so far this year.  

I am sure that in no small measure this is due to the fact that the Club has been able to provide the services of fully qualified LTA coaches, rather than simply rely on Club committee members to supervise the sessions.  In addition, specifically at Tarvin School, the Club has funded tennis lessons within the school.  

We are anxious to continue with the coaching beyond the Spring Bank Holiday, when incidentally there will be no coaching, however this will not be possible unless we ask parents for a contribution towards costs.  The cost of an annual junior membership being only £24 means that we need to ask for a contribution of £2 per junior for each session attended and this we will need to start as from Monday, 2 June.  

I hope everyone understands the need for this charge and that it has been set at a level that will not deter juniors from taking advantage of the coaching.

Junior night will still be available on the bottom courts with committee members for those junior members not wishing to participate in the coaching.
